Regulatory change keeps adding complexity, margins on most contracts sit in low single digits, and the cost of getting a bid wrong is high. Contractors who manage the tendering process well don't just win more work — they de-risk projects and protect margin. Very few have the time or resource to do that well on every single opportunity.

Built by people who've run the bids

Tender Copilot was founded by Paul Gray, who spent the last 25 years of his career on the work-winning side of construction, most recently as preconstruction director and a member of the senior leadership team for one of London's largest developers. Across that career he worked on bids ranging from small social housing repair contracts, education, leisure and healthcare schemes, through to large-scale regeneration and developments worth up to £500 million.

That experience is why Tender Copilot looks the way it does: built around how bid teams actually work under deadline, not how a generic proposal tool imagines they work.

Our vision

We want bid teams to have every piece of information at their fingertips, with the repetitive parts of tendering automated so the time saved goes back into the work that actually wins contracts — sharpening the win themes, tightening the numbers, and taking each response further than a copy-and-paste template ever could.
