Tender Copilot Ltd builds software that helps construction and infrastructure businesses win more work, more efficiently. We recognise that how we operate matters as much as what we build, and this statement sets out our commitments across the environment, our business conduct, our community, our people, and our supply chain.

Environmental responsibility

As a software company, our direct environmental footprint is modest, but we take it seriously. We operate a cloud-first infrastructure model, hosting our platform with providers that invest in energy-efficient data centres, rather than maintaining our own servers, to minimise unnecessary energy use.

We encourage remote and hybrid working across our team, reducing commuting emissions, and we default to digital documentation and paperless processes throughout our business and within the tender documents our platform helps produce. Where travel is necessary for client meetings or site visits, we favour rail over car or air travel wherever practical.

We continually look for ways to reduce waste, energy consumption and unnecessary business travel, and we review our environmental impact as the business grows.

Ethical business practices

We are committed to conducting our business honestly, fairly and transparently. We do not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form, in line with the Bribery Act 2010, and we expect the same standards from everyone we work with.

We handle client and prospect data responsibly and in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 – see our Privacy Policy for full details. We are truthful in our marketing and sales conduct, and we do not make claims about our platform or its use of artificial intelligence that we cannot stand behind.

We maintain appropriate governance and financial controls as a UK-registered company, and we take our statutory and tax obligations seriously.

Community engagement

We support the construction sector we serve by sharing knowledge freely, through our knowledge base, guidance content and direct conversations with bid teams, so that smaller contractors and subcontractors can compete for public and private sector work on a fairer footing.

Where possible, we support local causes connected to our registered office in Ilford, Essex, and we encourage our team to take part in volunteering and charitable activity. As the business grows, we intend to formalise a programme of charitable giving and community partnerships.

We favour suppliers who can demonstrate their own commitments to sustainability, ethical conduct, and modern slavery compliance, and we review our key supplier relationships periodically as part of our wider commitment to responsible business.
